When people think about Fashion Week, they probably think about beautiful outfits, fancy events and a lot of press. And yes, there was definitely some of that. ;))) But honestly? What stayed with me most had nothing to do with the runway.
Being surrounded by so many creatives and brands actually made me feel a little small at first. I remember thinking: “Do I fit here? Is this where I’m supposed to be?” Every brand was sooo different. And honestly? I think we were the only ones wearing that much color haha.
But it turned out to be such a good learning moment for me. To let those mind games go. To enjoy the moment. And to be proud of myself. Because honestly? Everyone is figuring it out as they go.
And I think that’s such a good reminder, not only for business but for life in general. You don’t have to fit into a box to create something meaningful. You don’t have to follow someone else’s path to make it work. You just have to keep showing up as yourself.
Amsterdam Fashion Week gave me so much inspiration, but more than anything it gave me the confidence to keep building something that’s completely me. And omg… seeing our pieces on the runway was definitely one of those moments where I had to stop and think: “Wait… is this actually happening?” 🥹
I was also sooo happy to experience it all surrounded by the people I love.
A little reminder that you never know where taking that first step might lead. ❤️
